At a conference call on Friday, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal invoked a phrase that was long forgotten about. When advocating his support for Mitt Romney, Jindal stated:
There’s only one candidate, Gov. Romney, who has committed that he will repeal the Obomney, uh, the Obamacare tax increase,’’ Mr. Jindal said.
“He will repeal Obamacare as soon as he’s elected.
Now, Jindal wasn’t actually comparing the two and it just seems that it was an innocent slip of the tongue; but when you are a prospect for VP, these moments will be scrutinized a little.
On Jindal actually being the VP? I don’t see it happening nor do I see him ever being a big national figure for the Republican Party. Jindal’s star was heavily on the rise not too long ago, but ever since his poor rebuttal to the State of the Union and the stories surrounding his experiences with exorcisms; I can’t see him having anything more than fringe appeal.
